yes I have a similar case, however the water was not running at the faucet and tub. And so i checked out not knowingly i had left the faucet nob on, which also drained slowly, and when the water pressure did come back on it flooded the room. There is no room below and it was completely tiled. Should I be accountable for that.

Do you know approximately how long after you checked out that all that happened? I'm just curious if housekeeping could/should have noticed it after you checked out, but before it flooded (obviously).
What about the overflow drain? Or was the rate of flow faster than the drain could handle?
