My Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and Samsung tablet didn't work on two E-175s nor a 737 for a trip this past weekend (and both work for the Alaska and Delta personal entertainment systems). Two blue circles of death and 8:05 of one movie before the blue circle of death kicked in. All three attempts were through the app.

The second 737 had in-seat screens, so I didn't even try (only one movie was offered, and I wasn't interested in it).
