We just booked a stay here in August, nonrefundable, so I hope it's the right choice! It was between the Conrad and the Hilton Wangfujing. The Hilton was $50 more per night, plus a $50 per night fee for a rollaway bed (the perils of traveling with a child!). The HIlton looks to be in a more fun area, but the Conrad looks like a nicer hotel, and for that difference in price we can take a cab to the Forbidden City.
