These threads got merged that I started, and the one gasongasoff started. While they were similar, they were not identical so I just want to point out the differences. I was annoyed that AS was giving away free snacks to MCS on ex-VX aircraft, but not on “premium class” and was charging the same price. Well as is being reported, it appears Alaska is staying consistent and making MCS the same as premium class. So everyone gets charged for snacks now, and they don’t have different business models on different planes. My initial complaint has been solved, my words were heard, and I’m glad AS is streamlining things. So my complaint is no longer relevant, and I applaud Alaska for doing the right thing. I think they probably should have kept free, or at least one snack option to every MCS/Premium Class passenger, but they decided to go another way. That’s fine by me so long as they aren’t offering drastically different business models on drastically different planes and confusing customers.

gasongasoff is mad that AS is changing the VX experience and making it into the AS experience. This is NOT my complaint. While I think the VX experience was probably better, AS made the decisions they did and as a 75ker I am okay with that. That’s his right and his opinion to be upset, but everyone should know the difference in our complaints.
