There are airside transfers between T6 (AS) to TBIT (NZ). No need to exit terminal and go through security.
Do this, don't bother exiting and taking the shuttle bus that will have to go T7, T1, T2, T3 and then TBIT.
The only thing that will aid in walking between the connectors is the T5 golf trolley that runs between T6 and T5, these are sporadic and really only save 3-4 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes to walk.
