I've flown with my cat in domestic flights and anything but ATR is preferable. The textile bag is 29 cents high but fits just well under the seats. Finnair CS will ask 1) dimensions where I might have underestimated the bag height, and 2) that do you have all the necessary documentation ready, so be sure to have that done in time. However, I suspect Norra only accepts 1 pet in cabin -- or then I just remember that FlyMAYbe had that rule. Sadly, most often you will be designated the last row of seats in Airbus/Embrear when traveling which is less than optimal for cats as the engines makes a lot of noise for ultrasensitive cat ears (they have better hearing then dogs!) so I recommend a seat in front of the wings, row 6 - aisle was acceptable according to my cat. Ask if they can move your forward in check in. If they get distressed, then textile bags are best as you can more easily reach in and give them chin scratches to calm them down. When the seat belt sign is off, then lift them in their bags into you lap, as that is much more soothing (=quieter) for them. Oh, and bring their favorite toy(s) and blankets with them in the carrying bag.
