Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Travelex at all unless OP can't get a bank account for some reason (which doesn't seem to be the case). Schwab, for example, is a much better option for ATM withdrawals as they refund all ATM fees. The downside is that it requires a hard pull of your credit report.

BTW Revolut is supposedly coming to the US. I have the feeling that the US version of their debit card is going to be gimped, however (for instance, I wouldn't be surprised if it was chip and signature, unlike the European one).
