Continental to offer miles for SkyMall purchases

Houston-based Continental Airlines and Continental Express have formed a new on-board incentive shopping program with Phoenix-based SkyMall Inc.

The new program rewards customers of the SkyMall catalog with 15 OnePass miles for every dollar spent on SkyMall merchandise.

There is no limit to the Continental Airlines OnePass miles customers can earn. However, the offer is available only by using a special order form, available from Continental Airlines or Continental Express flight attendants, mailed within 48 hours after arriving at passengers' final destination.

On video-equipped Continental Airlines' domestic flights, a 60-second video promotes this offer and encourages passengers to request a special order form from a flight attendant. On Continental Express flights, the flight attendant will make an announcement about the offer shortly after takeoff.
