I know. But I am thinking of doing a oneway LHR-SYD on WT+ on any OW airline to get me enough points to get over to Silver, then use the 50% deal to get me home for next to nothing. Trouble is the date for my flight home is not definite and if I have to stump up for a one way fare, even in Y, it's going to be far more expensive that just buying a return later in the year.
