Perhaps I seem like I am looking for them when I walk across the street to go to the 7-11 store. Due to the time change between California and Singapore I usually am awake for a couple of hours between midnight and 4 am and typically make my way to the store for some food or beer. It has always seemed to me like running the gauntlet to get across the street and fend off the approaches by the ladies. It's not my scene, but I've found it is unavoidable if you walk out of the Hilton late at night, unless you jump in a taxi at the doorway.
That would explain it - I am usually asleep by that time. Melatonin works great on me
