My first name and middle name are smoshed and I’ve never had TSA problems. YMMV

Have flights booked for next week on JetBlue that I purchased on the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal a few weeks ago. Couldn't get my itinerary to link to my JetBlue account despite including the JetBlue account # and KTN with booking. Finally called JetBlue this evening and they say it is because my name is coming from Chase with first and middle name smooshed together. JetBlue says they cannot change the name - they also said this will impact my ability to get precheck since my name on the ticket won't match my name associated with my KTN. JetBlue indicated this is an issue with 3rd party bookers and that Chase would need to get a space into my name.

Called Chase, rep said that my first and middle names definitely have a space and that it is sent with a space, but that the airlines smoosh them together and there is nothing they can do. I told them what JetBlue said and the rep informed me that they have no ability since there is a space in their system and that it happens with all airlines.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Getting precheck is my biggest concern - this is an early morning flight and I don't want to deal with security lines....

Also Chase shows me as having confirmed seats, JetBlue website says seats cannot be selected in advance - I forgot to ask about that when I was on the phone with either agent.

Is this a HUCA situation? If yes, who should I be calling back - JetBlue or Chase?
