What's with the sarcastic comments on this forum lately? Particularly the first to rush in and quickly reply with something "clever". Is that what this site is coming to like every other online social place with cheap comment likes and upvotes?

No the colour doesn't matter. I wanted something sturdy and professional looking with my name engraved on it rather than a flimsy one written by hand. I don't care it is Gold, I don't even care it is BA. Those who constantly see and accuse others in this case as DYKWIA often have these issues themselves, basic psychology.

The 4 week restriction comes up when trying to order for a second time. It can hardly be cost cutting, it would cost BA less to manufacture and post all at once. Although in this case I won't bother ordering as it will be too late so yes BA cost cutting does win. Maybe that's the game here, to try to discourage and make the customer go for an alternative.

Preventing accidental reordering is a fair point but the site and email make abundantly clear it can take up to 4 weeks to receive. Anyway, there is an annual limit. Whether one orders again by accident or willingly it is still the same limit. I don't need BA to supervise and manage my orders.

I called and they told me to order from the site.
