Check in at LAX after transatlantic flight -How is it?
Hi,
My parents and myself (VS Silver for me ) are flying to Las Vegas in June (Sunday June 16) from Scotland.
It is considerably cheaper to fly with Virgin to LAX and connect to HP than the non stop Virgin flight to LAS ( £800 to LAS non stop as economy is full outbound it is Premium Economy versus £562 to LAX).
My question is : The Virgin flight is due in Terminal 2 at 15:10 with a 2 hour layover before the 17:10 HP to Las Vegas from Terminal 1. Will the 2 hours be sufficient to clear customs and recheck in with HP and get through security.
I do realise that any delay on the VS flight will mess up the schedule and it might be a little tight.
Thanks for any advice.
Ps I flew HP LAS-PHX last year in August and know to expect just drinks probably but for 1 hour flight it is ok)
