That depends on payment processor. Most processors using updated security software verify that when you provide an address with your card, that it is the address you provided at the time of your card application or when you have moved.
You may, of course, have your packages shipped to any address.
Amazon & Fedex are two good examples of merchant vendor which verify that a card is associated with its proper address.
HUH? One simply uses a business address on the credit card and has purchases sent to the same business address. There's nothing that's not "its proper address" involved, just a preference to use a business address rather than a home address for various reasons and to do it consistently.
