Or you could do it with 60 segments. In any case, all your 2004 flying counts, including the flights that counted for the Challenge - as well as any you may have taken before your Challenge, as long as you were enrolled in AAdvantage at the time and they were credited to your account.

I don't know if this would be a problem in your case, but the rules also say that at least four of your flights have to be on AA/AE.
