An Alternative To Flub Threads. Using WTP For Y

Bit different from the usual ‘FLUB’ threads. Travelling on BA235 tomorrow which is usually operated by a mid-haul 2 Class A321 but has been substituted for a 777 for the past few days and as far as am aware have only been selling this service as a 2 Class J & Y service.

I completed OLCI this morning with only the Y section showing in the seat selection page. Afterwards I checked on Expertflyer to see how TS was doing with my seat selection and chances of it sticking only to notice that there was 1 pax already seated in the WTP section. I went back to MMB to see if I could change seat but did not give the option to do so. Ho hum, no dramas.

I have just checked on EF again and the WTP cabin is filling rapidly (along with Y). I haven’t downloaded my BP as I have to get my visa checked at the check in desk. Would a call to BA be of any use to see if I could get into the WTP cabin? Would really appreciate being closer to the front for disembarking.

Thanks for any thoughts.

S
