Won't be possible. That discount applies to pure AC itinerary. If it's all on one reservation, BD gets a part of the revenue hence AC can't apply the 30% discount.
If not, what are the chances of an AC agent at YYZ refusing to check bags through to CDG or refusing to check 2 x 70 Ibs to CDG as the Europe sector tickets are obviously supposed to be the European baggage allowance. I suspect the practical answer is that there would be no problem but still would appreciate any comments. Thanks!
They can do it, just give them the flight numbers/city pairs and they will add it to your bag itinerary. I doubt they care about the 70 lbs limit.
