10 days ago I have the same scenario. The approval email came 3 min after the 7-10 days email.
My application instantly went to approved on the web site after applying.
Later in checking my email, I first got an email with the 7-10 days spiel, then immediately got another email saying approved.
Applied using a 9 digit mailer today, that expired on 5/2, and all is well.
