Choosing the best seats, and a layover question

On an upcoming trip I have 4 legs and wanted to make sure I was making the best choice for each. They are on a 75D,319,321, and 739 and I'm in 5B for all of them except the 319 which is 3B. All of these are odd numbered flights except my last leg on the 739, and it's the longest leg from LAX-ATL. I'm worried in 5B I won't have a good food option and I'll be starving when I land but I've heard row 1 is awful.
1B is still available, with the toe cutout is it the same as the others? Is there a difference in taking 2B over 5B? Any advice is appreciated, not just on my 739 leg, but the rest of the flights.
Also, my layover in LAX is 2.5 hrs. is this enough time to get to the KAL lounge from T2 and back? Is there any leniency on skyclub access (I assume not) considering LAX-ATL is about as transcon as it gets?
Thanks in advance.
