I bought a ticked from Iberia web. First leg from Europe to US is by Iberia over Madrid and the return is direct flight from US to Europe operated by American airlines. During booking, all the segments were fares with included baggage and were not under the recently introduced "Basic Economy" fare. I even double checked by the phone (because of the codeshare flight) before booking and got info that I have baggage for the flight combinations and price I was interested in.

Unfortunately on the issued tickets it says 0PC of checked baggage for the AA flight and there is no mention of the Iberia fare type for any of the flights (Basic, Optimal, etc.) so really there seems not much to hold on to during the check in if I will be requested to pay for the baggage.

Any ideas what to expect and how to handle it?
