Is your BAEC account registered in the USA/somewhere other than the UK?

There was an issue identified a while ago whereby BA correctly zeroed the YQ for ex-HKG bookings using UK point of sale, but (inadvertently?) didn't on US point of sale. I can't find the thread now but IIRC the members affected successfully got BA to refund the unlawfully charged YQ.

As a data point my BAEC account is UK based and I am quoted the [correct] £31.20 price ex-HKG. [ETA:] But bizarrely this is slightly more than the £29.44 quoted by boonkoh above for the exact same flight. Could be a currency change but seems a rather drastic one in the short time since they posted.
