Travelling with Wedding Favors - Soap

Hello!

This is my first post here, so please forgive me if I posted in the wrong forum! My fiance and I are getting married in Italy in June, and we are flying Emirates business to Milan. (That's a whole other topic, as it's my first time flying with them and I hear their business class is awesome! ) For our wedding favors, I decided to make small bars of soap, since it's a practical gift and everyone can use soap! I was just talking to one of my coworkers and told her what our wedding favor was. When she asked how I was going to bring it over, I told her I was going to put it in a small carry on, so they could inspect it, and so it wouldn't melt from the heat of the plane etc. She then told me that I should check to make sure TSA would allow me to carry that much soap on the plane and make sure they won't confiscate it. This never occurred to me, as soap is a solid, and allowed in a carry on.

Obviously I thought I would be pulled aside, and they would inspect the bag and I would be questioned, and they might even run some tests on some of the soap. My plan was to alert them ahead of time and explain what it is. I will also have some other wedding stuff with me, including my dress, his suit and our itinerary. So I can show them all this. Now I am just freaking out that they will confiscate all the soap that I worked so hard to make and I will be stuck with no favors for my guests. For reference, the soaps are 1x2.5x2 inches, and I'll be bringing about 50 soaps. I planned on putting them in a rolling carry on to make it easier. Anyone have any experience with something like this? I can't be the first home-made soap maker who has tried this out. Shipping to Italy is not really an option.
