@MrAOK If it’s your first time on EU “short haul” (ish) business class, then I can absolutely see how you would be disappointed. It’s not really Business class as long haul is at all. I imagine you’re not going to be last person to be astonished by it if you’re new.

But I do have to accept (in some ways) what’s provided and that’s a bit more side space and middle table. I dislike being too close to people unless I really have to so BA short haul biz class (CE: Club Europe) gives me that.

Would i I love a few more extra inches of leg room and a nicer padded wider seat, yes please. But sadly that doesn’t really exist in Europe nowadays. Ryanair and EasyJet changed all that some decades ago and that seat you sat on is the result of the competition.

I hope the rest of the flight experience and long haul were enjoyable.
