Unless there is an incentive (i.e. elite status), it is not worth choosing an airline based on the service aspect. That's not incorrect in this context but also exactly why the decline of Y service we complain about - once we decided to not care.
Low expectation right but there's still differences thus choices. In this context I believe both airlines would be similar in service, however in some cases this can go much better (JL?) or worse (some really low ones on skytrax?)
