Aerclub is worse than Gold Circle. At least I could use GC points for upgrades. And as for any recognition forget it. I flew to Warsaw the other week on BA via London, and in both cases I was boarding group 5. The gate lizzard at LHR tried to take my carry-on off me because as an Aerclub Concierge I was unworthy scum, even though only 20 people had boarded before me - she didn't win.
