Sure - but in OP's case, have to balance that vs ~10000 EQMs and `$1000-1500 EQDs of extra travel & spend to get to Plat Pro. And then take into account the likelihood that a fair percentage of those speculative upgrades won't clear. In the end that's a cost/benefit question that the OP needs to figure out.

Plat Pro also gets you a higher RDM earning rate over Plat, but again, that's not worth extra flying, IMO.
