It sounds like you have never seen a real manifest handed to the FAs ( it's not meant to be seen by the public anyway), the information you mentioned can be seen on the CSR's computer, but on FAs' it never shows any ticket class, upgrades, SSSS, notes; only FF status and Full Fare, and flight connections.
