The Conrad is my go-to property even among luxury options, so needless to say it gets a strong recommendation from me. The F&B isn't quite up to luxury Tokyo standards (although in Tokyo, that's a minor issue), but the concierge in particular has gone above and beyond on many occasions.

Splitting the stay to properties in different areas is certainly an option if you arrange all your dining/excursion plans accordingly.
