I booked a weekend of parking at Gatwick South Short Stay back in January. Whilst booking another trip today I noticed the existing booking in my Gatwick Parking account and decided out of interest to check how much the same weekend costs if booked now. Expecting to be smug about having saved money...

Imagine my surprise to see the exact same parking was now £29 *cheaper* than when I booked! That's right, 4 months later the price of the exact same parking has dropped by over 25%.

I tried to cancel the original booking online but they were going to levy a £10 cancellation charge. I called up and on the phone I was told there would be no cancellation charge and he cancelled it but wouldn't comment on the actual pricing discrepancy.

This seems scandalous! I'd never have thought the price could go down and goes against any advice I've ever heard (i.e. book parking early). Anyone seen this before?
