Hello - I had put a reservation on hold using my AA miles. Miami to Athens Greece via Doha on Qatar. The return is Athens to Phoenix via Doha & Los Angeles on Qatar. When I put the reservation on hold the American representative did not tell me I would have to pay 10% of my infants fare (she will by my lap child and be 11 months old at the time of the flight). I went to book last night and was told from only having to pay taxes (estimated $140.00) to now needing to pay around $1,600..... As you can imagine I was quite frustrated. AA could not do anything but say I'm sorry. Any ideas on a work around? I need to book my flights by tonight at 11:59 est. So any help is much appreciated!!!!
