You can disregard the e-mail; occasionally, if a record needs to be kept active for research, troubleshooting problems, or simply a new one is created to attach an old electronic ticket to a live reservation to facilitate a change or reissue by the customer, agents will add a "pseudo flight" segment into the PNR to keep it alive, generally set as flight 7100 from the SABRE "city" of CRC to the "city" of HDQ. I've never seen alaskaair.com generate a notification for it, though.
I've shared with the e-commerce team to determine how this was generated, as it was unintentional.
