Got a “snack” instead of dinner? This was a 1266 mile flight, scheduled to depart 7:51 pm, and Delta’s app said dinner. We were delayed about an hour but that shouldn’t matter, right? I think the other option, Asian chicken salad with noodles is standard (pretty sure I’ve eaten it before), so the non-standard option would be a roast beef sandwich with cookie. Accompanied by nothing unless you count the mayo and mustard packets. Guess they were out of the cute Alessi shakers as well: when you unwrapped the napkin, single serve packets of salt and pepper fell out. My sandwich tasted alright, I was just expecting more. File a complaint with DL. That is simply unacceptable for a flight of that length.
