Well I have 580,000 of the 800,000 that we need in UA miles. I've been collecting UA miles in the form of credit card spend, UA Mileage Plus shopping portal, and the Mileage Plus X app, which is an app where you get miles for buying gift cards. As far as I know, the latter two aren't available in a flexible currency form (I could be wrong, but I haven't seen anything). There is no way I could do 200k in spend in 2.75 years (to book 6 months out).

And yes, I know planing 3+ years out is a bit crazy, but I am a bit crazy and extremely OCD. LOL I'll be graduating from college and this trip is going to be a celebration for the wifey and I.

That said, I might consider a partner award in F to get the saver award one way since there is never saver space available on UA mettle, but I think getting a saver award in both directions would be tough given the limited availability.
