Aircraft repairs and maintenance take time. You can fault the airline for not keeping enough spare aircraft if you want.
If folks are paying likely a $4K one way fare including an A350 surcharge just to enjoy the flagship product - everything better be working. DL can schedule their maintenance and take care of their operations such that they have working power without changing aircraft.

If they fail to do so, fine; but there better be a steep punitive penalty to them. Why should the customer be expected to pay thousands in airfare, a ludicrous $450 change fee for a few keystrokes, etc - if the airline can't let a business traveler work in paid J on a new planews because of their maintenance and they decide to fly the plane without all features as advertised - they should be hanging out significant compensation (or be required to).

Sometimes the only way to get a large corporation to pay attention to a problem is by getting them to pay for it, literally, and thus draw their attention to the problem this way. Look up the thread of the poster who was in paid J with an inoperable seat - made DL pay out over $1K in cash I think...
