D1 A350 Power Outlets Not Working
Pointless rant... you've been warned.
I flew D1 from Seoul to Atlanta last week in a new "flagship" A350. None of the power outlets in the D1 cabin worked, and apparently they didn't work in the entire plane according to the flight attendant.
I fly Delta 99% of the time, so maybe I just have unrealistically high expectations that can't be met by any airline. But about 50% of my flights have something not working - power outlet, USB, and occasionally the entertainment center. I always attributed it to aging equipment and the wear-and-tear of being used so frequently. But these brand new A350s, Delta's "flagship" (which I would assume means that they would make sure these things work) are already apparently having the same issues that the older 737s, 757s, etc. have.
Needless to say, this was a VERY long flight not to have a power outlet in a VERY expensive cabin. My laptop, which I had planned to do work on, was at 20% when I boarded, so I was pretty much out of luck to get anything done.
So what gives? Why can't Delta get their act together? I love them as an airline, but these consistent issues are very frustrating.
End rant.
