I just got my ICBC UnionPay credit card and I can confirm it won't connect to Alipay or WeChat Pay. Interestingly, my U.S. cards can connect to Alipay.

Although I've been using the card in the U.S., I hope it works as intended in China, since that's why I got the card in the first place. If it doesn't work as well as I hope, I intend to give ICBC a piece of my mind since I've invested a lot of time to get this card. But judging from what I see here, it looks like I won't need to do that.

At the very least though, the card works fairly well in the U.S.
