I am staying at this HGI for 10 nights and had to post this. Some might see it as being bad, but I find it hilarious. I usually stay in hotels for 9-10 night stretches. As I don’t want to carry too much luggage with me, I will use the hotel’s dry cleaning service or self serve washer and dryer. So, during my stays, I accumulate quarters to use on the washer and dryer.

This stay, I have been keeping the quarters in the black tray which has the coffee maker sitting on it. The first couple of days I noticed when I got back into the room that the quarters were missing. I thought that maybe I had not put them there. So, the third day before leaving the room I left 1 quarter and sure enough when I got back that evening, the quarter is missing. So, the next day, I left 2 quarters and come back to the room that evening, both are missing.

A couple of days later, I said well, this stinks because someone is taking my quarters I need to wash my clothes, so I left a $1 bill and sure enough, get back and it is gone. It is almost like Santa Claus coming in and eating the snacks you leave on Christmas Eve…laughing. This morning I left an unopened fortune cookie and 5 pennies. I cannot wait to get back and see what is left.
