AlanT, that's a great comment and question. Truthfully, I was a bit leary of the street stalls. I previously got very sick in Oman based on an edible food item. I was pretty much empty after 3 days and was travelling at the same time to Poland. As a result, I was playing it cautiously knowing that Mexico was the first part our trip and that we still had all of Easter Island to go. I was also bitten by a similar issue in Jaipur, India. I probably didn't have anything to worry about but I've been playing safer the older I get.
Well, in that case I guess it makes sense to not eat in places which doesnt feel safe, but nevertheless, i still think that something most common for mexicans would have been better. Something that any local eat commonly, and Pujol it is not.
