I just want a seat that doesn’t cripple me, and my bag in a bin somewhere near but not behind my seat. That’s all I ask. I don’t care about anything else that C+ has to offer other than that little extra bit of legroom and supposedly dedicated overhead bins. I would absolutely value boarding C+ before SKY just so I know there will be bin space when I get to my seat. I usually, but not always, pay for first so I’m not sure what goes on behind me but I’ve seen plenty of non-firsts stash their bag in first on their way to the back and FAs just let it pass. I would assume this also happens in C+. As long as that goes on, there is value to boarding earlier rather than later. The routes I fly seem to be half filled with SKY passengers so being ahead of them has value to me. Nothing whatsoever to do with ego or status or any of that.
