I've been there a couple of times. Great experience. Couple of tips:
Try to get one of the rooms facing the interior gardens. They are the nicest. Shower before you get into the tub. Don't confuse the bathroom slippers with the bedroom slippers, big no-no. Wear the ‘yukata’ with the left side over the right, the right over left is used for dressing corpses, which I assume you do not intend to become while there. Don't eat lunch and prepare for a long, elaborate dinner. Leave room for the special brown rice and dessert at the end.
