Wrong status show on boarding pass
I've already posted this on the AA board but its very quite over there and no one has responded. As this is a BA holidays booking it is of some relevance to this forum.
I have just checked in for my first ever AA flight tomorrow. The flight was booked through British Airways on an AA codeshare. I am BA Gold / OWE and I am travelling with my 2 kids who only have blue status with BA. My boarding pass shows me as OWE as expected, but one of my kids is also showing as OWE with group 2 boarding and priority status which seems to be incorrect. My other kid is correctly shown as having no status (so group 6 boarding but I assume she can in fact board with me?).
I have checked my BA account through which the ticket was booked and her BA membership number is correct, so it is not the case that the wrong number has been entered (I thought we may have mistakenly put mine or my husband's Exec Club number into the booking by mistake)).
Has anyone come across this before and do you foresee any problem travelling on this ticket / boarding pass as it is? I am a nervous flyer (despite my status) and tend to over think things and try to deal with problems in advance to avoid stress on the day.
On the positive side, I was resigned to no lounge access as I cannot guest both the kids, and having a second boarding pass showing status would presumably allow us all access. That said, I am a risk adverse rule follower, and would prefer not to be embarrassed by a refusal of access. My inclination would be to use either the CX or QF lounge at Heathrow T3 rather than the BA lounge if possible.
