ANA Policy on Bluetooth Headphones @ Takeoff?
So I just remembered that on a recent flight HKG-NRT, the FAs made an announcement explicitly prohibiting the use of bluetooth devices during takeoff from HKG. I don't recall a similar announcement when I was flying NRT-HKG. In fact I was using my bluetooth headset on take off ex-NRT sitting in an exit seat, and the FAs in the jump seats didn't even bat an eye. The flights were both on Air Japan's ancient 767-300s.
Admittedly I don't fly ex-HKG that often, so I was just wondering if this was a HKG-specific regulation? Or is this actually an ANA-wide regulation that's sporadically enforced? If it is an ANA-wide policy, I might have to pack an AUX cable on my carryon next time...
