I strongly suggest use the UA or DL points for a flight to BOM in Business Class since it will be worth it. More so you will have options of flying on LH/NW/DL/AZ/AF or use DL points to fly to DEL via VS in Upper Class.

The options are tremensous. However, I recommend LH since they have the FLAT BED BUSINESS CABINS from JFK to FRA. Anyways from BOM you can purchase great fares to CMB or BKK. Its cheaper to purchase them from BOM itself.
