I have not used the Air NZ Wifi but have used other offerings (Scoot, Lufthansa, United). I was happy with it, but people expecting to watch videos are dreaming. Connectivity can be intermittent, and there were definite dropouts but hell you are connecting from the middle of the ocean! It allowed me to run my business, and work on servers via shell, amazing! I will definitely use it on Air NZ flights, although my next flight to the US is a red eye, so likely wont be using it that time. $30 NZ is in line with the others, $40 was pushing it a little.
