Still, given the population base at SJC, I think DL could do so much more if they were willing to try. To me, with a bit of effort, they could support: 2-3x DTW, 2x JFK, 3x AUS, 1x ICN, 1x AMS or CDG. And maybe 1x RDU, tho I'm not certain about that one.

Until they add at least some of those, they will struggle to be more than an also-ran at SJC. (Even tho I agree that they are significantly larger than they once were)
With the exception of SEA and an annual trip to Hawaii, I don't fly anywhere that there is a non-stop from SJC. So, I'm mostly looking for adequate connection opportunities and not having to drive up to SFO.
