T4 has a satellite terminal, so it may well involve a change of terminal buildings at least. T4 and T4S are connected by a transit, more details in yesterday's thread here:

BA has recently moved CE catering to Long on MAD, so the catering differences between the airlines has narrowed, and depending on the menu / preferences / drink choice, BA may have the edge.
