Not true and depends on how you look at. I live in PA and i am able to get shell FR rewards by linking a MC and buying stuff in Giant PA. Just that i can't link the 2 programs. But one can doubledip by linking the MC and getting rewards from both when purchasing in Giant.
Giant PA participates in Fuel Rewards? Really? That would certainly be news, because they don't otherwise participate in the regular gas rewards program (you have to get your "free" gas at Giant's own PA gas stations).
