I want to fly Avianca because they have tons of flights from CTG to BOG, whereas LATAM only has 2 per day. So if thinks should go south, Avianca should be able to put me on their next flight.

I was planning at least 2.5-3 hours to connect at BOG in any case (so that even a later flight would still leave 1.5 hours) but I thought that maybe LH’s checkin might not even be open that early.

If we have to claim our bags at BOG anyway, I might as well buy a cheaper hidden city ticket...
