A few times I started my trip with BA at CDG and connect to VS at LHR. It was ticketed by VS and it had my Skymiles number. For the BA segment, I had to show my AA card in order to get exit row, bag and lounge benefits, as both BA and VS the agents always claimed that only one number would work. On the return segment, I would stop by the BA counter to switch FQTV numbers.
