The Ibis (not the Ibis Budget) isn't bad either if you're just one person and don't feel like paying the premium for the Novotel. Rooms are too small for two, and the breakfast is extra and light on proteins. But it's clean and reasonably comfortable.

The location of both hotels are excellent:

- Get to the South Terminal
- Go out door C (departures) and turn right, or door J (arrivals) and turn left
- Walk about 30 feet, and cross the road twice to a bus stop
- There will be a big footbridge (with elevators tucked away) in front of you
- The footbridge is about 1/8 mile long with moving walkways, and drops you off about 30 feet away from the Novotel and the Ibis.

For multiple days of sightseeing in Paris, it would be annoying. But for one, it can work.

I did two nights at the Ibis as part of a segment-run/day in Paris (arrived 9pm, left 36 hours later). Took the AF bus (right at the base of the staircase from the hotel) into Paris on my sightseeing day and back for 20 euros RT. I didn't have to schlep my luggage to a city center hotel, and I saved a lot of money on the hotel itself.

But for a second day, i wouldn't have wanted to take the bus again.
